FINDING A WIFE - DOES A MAN FIND FAVOR FROM GOD OR NOT?

Yes a man obtains favor from God after finding himself a wife, however there are many men out their who had find their wives but never obtain favor.

Proverbs 18:22 made it clear by saying "Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD." KJV Yes favor from God follows after finding a wife. But many christains of today never see favor from God after finding themselves wives, instead of obtaining favor, they obtain troubles, fraustrations, problems and so on.

A christain brother in his 40s never wanted to marry cos of many bad stories he had heard from broken and bad marriages and he as a man is a product of a broken marriage. His pastor encouraged him to find himself a wife but finding a wife is not in his agenda, the pastor pushed more advice into him to find a wife by always quoting to him Proverbs 18:22. Finally this christain brother was in search for wife. Did he obtain favor according to Proverbs 18:22? No, instead of obtaining favor after one year of marriage with a christain sister, all he could see was deceit and heart breaks. Can we now say the Bible is a liar? Can we say the pastor is also a liar as well? No, the Bible is never a liar neither the pastor. A man cant just put Proverbs 18:22 in his head and jump into any place and finds wife. Some men find calamities and obtain problems instead, and not from God.

Proverbs 3:5-6 made it known that " Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." KJV. So why not inquire from God before jumping into finding yourself a wife? Even the pagans inquire from their idols before doing anything and also finding themselves wives.

Lean not unto your own understanding. And in all your ways (including finding a wife) acknowledge Him who is your God and creator.

So when you acknowledge God, He will direct your paths and lead you to the right and good wife, then favor follows.

Note

Proverbs  3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes. KJV

WHY MUST A MAN BLAME AND QUESTIONS GOD FOR HIS FAILED MARRIAGE BY QUOTING PROVERBS 18:22 AND YET HE THINKS GOD WONT ANSWER HIM WITH PROVERBS 3:5-6?
